the white horse is a lovely spot by the river. the staff are super friendly, and the breakfast is fantastic! we really enjoyed our deluxe double room with a garden view. plus, they treat our dog like royalty, bringing dog treats with breakfast! such a cozy pub atmosphere too.

Had a blast with friends! The rooms were comfy, and we enjoyed darts and a stunning cycling route nearby. The breakfast was nice. Just a heads up, the check-in took a little while, and the stairs were narrow, but overall, it was a lovely stay.

We faced a hiccup during dining when the staff didn't deliver food to our table, which was weird. It was quite a busy road, and it felt unsafe navigating with kid.

Really lovely old inn with character. The staff was incredibly friendly, they even brought some food up to my room when I fell ill, which I really appreciated. The food was top-notch, the beer stew was a highlight, I mean it was incredible, pack some serious flavor!

It wasn’t exactly cheap but still reasonable for what you get.

Charming pub stay

I had a pretty good time. The room was clean and comfy enough, but not huge. The staff was friendly, which was cool. Breakfast was ok, but kind of limited choices. That said, the food in the bar was tasty and the vibe at night was great with lots of folks around. Just didn’t love the small bed!

I had an amazing stay with a cozy atmosphere and delightful food, especially the belly pork, which was unforgettable! I’d definitely want to return soon!
